Schlüter®-DITRA-DRAIN 8

Schlüter ^® -DITRA-DRAIN 8 is composed of a non-deformable polyethylene film with truncated cones on one side and a polypropylene geotextile filter lining on both sides. The filter geotextile lining, on the underside, is used to fix the thin layer mortar which must be applied with a notched trowel (recommendation: 3 x 3 mm or 4 x 4 mm) on the waterproofing joint and set completely in Schlüter ^® -DITRA-DRAIN 8. Pressure load resistance is up to 15 t/m². Schlüter ^® -DITRA-DRAIN 8 is suitable for outdoor use, especially for stairs and larger balcony and terrace surfaces where there are longer drainage paths. Care must be taken to ensure that these drainage paths drain independently and not through the stairs. On larger stairs, special requirements must be met. Therefore, we ask that you consult us in the case of this type of project. The closed polyethylene membranes Schlüter ^® -DITRA-DRAIN 4 and 8 additionally form a protective layer for joint waterproofing.
